Independent Musicians Collective (IMC) are a dynamic and diverse 8-piece vocal collective. Together with our amazing Musical Director & pianist Matt Bain, we perform stunning original arrangements of pop, rock, funk, soul, disco, house and R&B songs, transforming them into dazzling multiphonic arrangements with deep bass lines, vital funky rhythms and stunning soulful lead vocals.
Our grooves are guaranteed to get everyone up on their feet!

Established in 2017, IMC have a number of sell-out shows under our belt, including at London’s well known Pizza Express Live, Holborn, Soul Mama, Stratford, and at the Troubadour, Earls Court (a venue which has played host to artists such as Elton John, Jimi Hendrix and Joni Mitchell!) We regularly perform at weddings, celebrations and other private events.

Our talented members have performed on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, on stage at the O2 Arena, at the opening of the Rugby World Cup, live on Jazz FM and at top venues across London including the Southbank Centre, the Camden Jazz Café and XOYO club in Shoreditch. IMC members have also appeared extensively on BBC TV and radio.
